Polarized Light Microscope
Our key instrument is the Polarized Light Microscope (PLM). The PLM is a powerful tool used extensively in asbestos detection and characterization. It leverages the principles of optical mineralogy to differentiate asbestos from non-asbestos fibers and to identify the specific type of asbestos present.
This specialized microscope uses polarized light which passes through a sample, enhancing specific properties of the asbestos fibers, and making them easier to identify. The technique is non-destructive, preserving the sample for further analysis if required.
The PLM in our lab is not just modern, but meticulously maintained. This ensures that we deliver reliable, high-quality results every time. The image above showcases our well-kept Polarized Light Microscope.
Our Commitment to Quality
At Allab, we understand that the quality of our results depends on the quality of our tools. That's why we invest in the latest technology and ensure its proper maintenance. This commitment to quality allows us to offer the most reliable and accurate asbestos testing services in the industry.
